Tour 61, 20 January 2009

Yeoow what a sweet tour such a great crew that really wanted to be there. The stand out thing was that not once over the whole 5 days complained about the heat... NOT ONCE!!!

I had a lot of fun on this tour myself so thanks to the guys for helping out at every point along the way. We had so much energy left over in the evening that we spent a good half an hour looking at the stars and finding a few new constellations. I haven't had the energy to do that in months so its just a great indicator of how much of a stand out tour this was.

Thanks to ALL the crew both 3 and 5 dayers for all the good vibes.

This was also the first tour with the new 5D MKII in the bag and man did it rock the block. I am so very happy with the 5D MKII's performance and am over the moon that I committed and spent the money. The only issue I had with it was that I didn't have enough memory to just freely shoot. I have 16gb of CF memory and that sounds like a lot but you do have to remember that its a 21.1mp camera with most images being around 25mp in the RAW format.

I'll be writing a full post about the 5D MKII and its performance next week.
