Uluru Sunset HDR

Today an image shot with the new 24-70 f/2.8L USM lens.

I love this lens, everything about it to be honest. At 24mm it has a wider field of view than the 17-40 f/4L USM had on the old 400D body because of its 1.6 crop ratio sensor. So even wide open at 17mm the lens was really seeing a 27mm field of view. With the new lens I'm not only getting more at the wider end but also the telephoto end the maximum 70mm focal length fits in so well with my 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM.

These lenses are offering me for the first time since I started taking photos a complete coverage of focal lengths from 17mm through to 400mm.
