Its Monday and I'm heading off on tour tomorrow even though I was thinking my first tour was on 16 January, lucky to say the least that I realised. So in preparation for the first tour of the new year I'm posting an image of Uluru, the reason why most people come here to Central Australia.
Uluru has got to be one of the most photographed landmarks in Australia and possibly the most iconic and easily recognised natural feature of the Australian landscape. Of course the Great Barrier Reef is just as well recognised but show people a photo of Uluru and most will know what it is straight away.
This time when I'm out there I'll be looking for those wildflowers that I've been searching out the last month. Hopefully they will be out around the Kunya Walk and the Mutitjulu Waterhole where I'll be at the right time of day to get some useful images.
