Finke Gorge Sunset

Ahh the Finke Gorge National Park. I mean really nearly everybody that visits the Finke Gorge National Park drives straight past this magical view to look at palm trees. Palm Valley is located in Finke Gorge National Park and its advertised as the major draw card of the park. The gorge of Palm Valley is pretty senic and the vision of these very rare palm trees in the desert is amazing but it so totally over rated.

The Maprra walk in the Finke Gorge National Park is an amazing walk which takes in the most surprising views in the park. This view is less than 1km from the road but as I said the palm trees get all the attention. If we have time I'll try and add this lookout to the tour and only spend a few minutes in palm valley itself.
