So I'm back in Hobart after 13 days on the open trail in the South West Wilderness in Tasmania A full trip report and additional images are to be added soon but here is a quick update as it might be a few days before I can publish.
In the end I walked the coastline towards South West Cape for 5 days then returned to the beginning of the South Coast Track via an off track excursion over the New Harbor Range. Once meeting up with my lady friend we together completed the South Coast Track in 7 and a half days which is pretty fast but thats all the time allowed for.
I'll save the full speil for the trip report post to follow but it was once again a very challenging but spectacular walk along Australia's most dramatic coastline. The weather was fine all except two days which to be honest wasn't what I would have preferred but it did make for great beach weather.
The continuation of my documentary project did take on its intended deviation with me spending much time talking, interviewing and photographing my fellow walkers. These additional images and information will give this long standing project so much more value when it is finally published. I can't wait to get all the images up on the blog here so you all can view them.
